Concert Hall

 

Chopin Society concerts are held in the jewel-like setting of Mairs Concert Hall at Macalester College in St. Paul. With stage seating added, it holds approximately 350 people. The building and concert hall are fully accessible.

Mairs Hall is in the northwest corner of the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center at 130 S Macalester St, St. Paul, MN 55105. Macalester St is one block west of Snelling Ave. Parking is available on local streets and in surface lots adjacent to the building. The entrance to the Music Department and concert hall is on the west wide of the building, next to the main parking lot.

 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center

From Interstate 94, take the Snelling Ave exit and go south on Snelling to Grand Ave. Turn right (west) on Grand Ave and go 1 block to S Macalester St. Turn left (south) and go 1-1/2 blocks to where the street stops at Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center. A few parking spaces are there by the main entrance. For more extensive parking on the west side of the building (adjacent to the Music Dept.), follow the sign for "Additional Public Parking.”

From the north on Interstate 35E, take the exit to Interstate 94 westbound, go to the Snelling Ave exit and turn left (south). Follow remaining directions above.

From the south on Interstate 35E, exit at Randolph Ave and proceed left (west) on Randolph about 1 mile. Go right (north) on Snelling Ave to Grand Ave, approximately 1 mile. Turn left (west) on Grand Ave, and go 1 block to S Macalester St. Follow remaining directions above.
